White Sox prospect Luis Robert out 10 weeks with thumb injury

Chicago White Sox outfield prospect Luis Robert is expected to miss approximately 10 weeks because of a sprained ligament in his left thumb.

The White Sox announced Saturday that Robert, 20, will have his hand immobilized for six weeks. The Cuban-born center fielder suffered the injury while sliding into second base Wednesday during Chicago’s spring training game against Cincinnati.

Oklahoma City led 46-40 at halftime. George had 14 points and Anthony 13. Temple’s tip-in in the closing seconds of the third quarter gave Sacramento a 79-78 lead.

The Thunder led 88-85 in the fourth quarter when Westbrook checked back in after a brief rest. He got his 10th assist on a pass to Jerami Grant for a layup and his 10th rebound with just over 3 minutes to play. Westbrook’s lob to Grant for a dunk put the Thunder up 102-92 with just under 3 minutes to play.

Sacramento cut its deficit to 104-101 on a pair of free throws by Bogdanovic with 23 seconds left, but Oklahoma City’s Corey Brewer made two free throws with 17 seconds left to put it out of reach.

Throughout the season, the Spurs have used 23 different starting lineups with players sitting out a combined 182 games. In fact, San Antonio has had 15 players lead the team in scoring this season (outright or tied), which qualifies as the most in the NBA, according to research from ESPN Stats & Information. The Spurs have had literally only one game with their entire roster available.

Still, the Spurs remain undaunted in the face of the current circumstances.

“Everybody tries to be the best they can be by playoff time,” Popovich said. “That’ll Cheap Baseball Jerseys China be our goal, too — to be in the playoffs and be as good as we can possibly be no Cheap Authentic Jerseys matter what the circumstances are.”

Zuccarello added an empty-netter at 17:23 for his 14th of the season and the 100th of his career, and Vesey capped his hat trick with an empty-netter in the final minute for his 15th goal this season.

Damiere Byrd continued a strong night with his second touchdown of the game

The Titans get another turnover this time a Derek Anderson interception and we can definitely say they’re beating up on the Panthers at this point.

The stars of the first half were easily Derrick Henry 36 rushing yards and two touchdowns and Christian McCaffrey 33 rushing yards, 39 receiving yards, and one touchdown. It’s the 2015 Heisman race all over again.

Now the Texans have found a groove on offense. Alfred Blue got things rolling, and he didn’t quit all drive. He put up 31 yards on four carries and barreled into the end zone for the 16-yard touchdown.

Braxton Miller and DeAndre Hopkins also got in on the action, and Savage looked sharp, going 8-for-8.

Unfortunately, defensive tackle Vernon Butler, Carolina’s 2016 first-round pick, had to be helped off the field. This is a good sign, however:

Despite Houston being down two possessions, Watson was calm and poised on his next drive. He didn’t challenge the Panthers defense deep, but was steady hitting his receivers underneath and moving the chains.

In by far his best drive of the game, Watson methodically carved up the Panthers’ defense before finishing business himself, running for a 15-yard touchdown. You’d hardly tell he was a rookie based on this performance.

The Panthers are down to their third and fourth string with Cameron Artis-Payne in the backfield, as McCaffery ends his night with 33 yards on seven carries. Artis-Payne jumpstarted Carolina’s first drive of the second half with a 20-yard run. Soon after, Webb used his feet to keep the drive alive, getting a couple of first downs with well-timed scrambles.

Damiere Byrd continued a strong night with his second touchdown of the game, putting the Panthers up by 14.
